Or any shifter for that matter.

Looks like this is what really solves the problems of the sloppiness.

Default Who knows...but good luck buying it separatly. Wouldn't be a smart move to sell individually from

a business point of view. The shifter really is great, it's worth the money. And this is coming from a guy who used to own a toy guy...

Default I thought about that and it might work but why bother when the shifter is precision built to work

as a set? Just try it on a car that has one and see if you like it. I didn't try mine before I bought it but I'm still happy with it.

Default I don't know that the ID of the bearing is the same as the OD of the plastic shifter piece.

I have been very happy with my JHM and I think that the whole shifter is definitely worth the money.

Default Too smiplistic. Lots of places the slop comes from.

There is possible play at the bushing at the tranny for the stabilizer rod, at the ball/cage for the actual shift rod at the tranny, in the plastic ball on the shifter in addition to the place you mentioned. You need to consider all of these to cure it all.

Default Just installed a JHM in my car.

Big improvement coming from a stock shifter.

Much sturdier and nearly all the slop is gone.

Well worth the money.
