Default Any problems if I have wider rear tires?

235 rubs badly even w/ fenders rolled and plastic cut off.
Lowered with H&R sports + Bilstein shocks
I'm gonna get two 225 for the front.

I don't think width is an issue, circumference is. The rolling circumference of all four tires must be the same to not damage the quattro system.

True, but that's more for the rolling diameter, not necessarily the width.

the fronts & backs will (most probably) wear unevenly. you won't be able to rotate the tires.

I have 235s too, lowered, fenders rolled, no rubbing. Sounds like the offset on the rims....

Can I change the offset? How?

Default you need to run the same rolling height(within 1-2%) front and rear!

i have 225/40/18 fr and 255/35/18 rear for over a year now and no problems as a matter of fact with a neu 22mm rear swaybar the car is basically perfect... heres how to calculate rolling height

width(MM)/25.4*sidewall height(mm)*2+wheel size (inches)

225/25.4*40*2+18=25.08 inches
255/25.4*35*2+18=25.03 inches

in your application 235's adn 225's won't work you need a 205 front tire or a 265 rear tire to pull it off!

Default I'd be careful. I don't know if different rolling resistance front to rear will impact the life of

the Quattro system.
