Any reason not to run the High Capacity Oil Filter Vast carries?
Been ordering from ECS but figured I'd try vast this time around and noticed they only had High Capacity Oil Filter...tried a few searches and it looks like its fine just runs a bit extra oil...which is fine by me!
Probably a silly questions but any reason not to run the High Capacity Oil Filter?

the stock barely fits (length-wise) w/ an OCK sandwich plate. don't know if the VAST is longer or
wider, but if it's longer, you may not be able to use it w/ OCK. if it's the same length, but wider, it may work.
i didn't take the chance and just stuck w/ the OEM ones.

I have them. Tight fit, but they work fine.
The reason I use maybe kind of stupid, but the way I look at it, they kind of act as a poor mans oil cooler. It introduces more oil into the total equation, thus spreading around more oil to handle the heat. I would think that that would cause the oil to be more resistant to heat overall. I don't know if it is harder on other parts because of the added "strain" of pushing more oil around, but I live in Houston and it is hot most of the time. My turbos take a beating so if I can spread the heat around more, it makes sense to me. I have noticed my temps a little lower than with regular.
