Any reported problems with NEW Forge "High-Temp" BPV's??? Sticking?
#3
My .02 cents on why people have BPV's stick:
Just so you know, I'm bored, that's the only reason I'm bringing this up...
I'm convinced that only owner shortcuts result in BPV failure. Either they're a) too weak-kneed to get the stiff springs, or b) not mechanically enclined enough to do a correct, clean, well-opperating instal of the hardware.
Sorry to offend all of you BPV killas.

Or their temperature simply exceeds 140F...
...brand new never installed in a car nylon-pistoned Forge valves would stick when heated to that temperature. By the time 170F was reached, they wouldn't budge; not even a 50 lb. spring was going to fix that. The only fix was Forge's design change to the aluminum pistons that didn't expand as much in the heat.
