Default YES!!!!

I have a fuel guage that moves 1/4 tank up and down on it's own!

Especially noticable when I first start the car.

I'm calling the dealer now!

Default Re: fuel gauge problems

Not on my 3 year A4Q. The last quarter seems to "evaporate" quickly though. On my ML320 the needle goes up and down like a jo jo every once in a while. Don't some lawyers have anything better to do than waste a court's time with such frivolities????

I had my fuel gauge sending unit replaced due to the same problem.

Default Re: YES!!!!

Mine does the same :-((((
I think it´s just the way it is. They would have to change the whole car to fix it...<p>Ingo Gutjahr

Default Quite frequently, actually..

Yesterday was the best one yet. I started the car, and the fuel indicator displayed I had a little less than a quarter tank left. After twenty minutes of driving, it indicated I had just about a half tank remaining, which is the case.

Hopefully Audi issues a recall about this..

Default my fuel gauge behaves as if I have a 14 gallon tank (m)

also swings as much as a quarter of a tank somestimes. This happens even if i'm on a hill or level ground, moving or parked.
