Any tiptronics ever have a turbo failure?

Any tiptronics ever have a turbo failure?
if so were you chipped? how many miles did you have? after reading many posts on turbos failures i havnt come across a tip s4 with a one yet. thanks!

Yes, stock when they started to fail, 8000 miles or so.
Mine was because the dealer put 15w50 oil in the car. Siren sound started within a couple of miles. Steadily worsened and when I traded the car in it was obvious something was very wrong with one of the turbos.
There was also a guy in CT, and a few others who got new turbos w/ a tiptronic. Its pretty well understood at this point what failures in the car will lead to turbo damage. F-hose rupture was one -- which the tips don't have. Thus, less tips having failures.
