Default Anybody with a good condition Stoptech 332 or Brembo 328 BBK thinking of demodding?

At this moment, I can't justify going new if I can find a good condition kit in the $1000-$1200 range.

Thanks

Default I do.

I have have a set in my garage. It is the Stasis Streetkit from a few years ago, before Alcons were so big. This kit consisted of 4 piston Brembos taken from the S8, with floating slotted rotors. I actually have 3 sets of pads for this kit. Two sets of Pagid blues and a set of Porterfield pads. If you live in CA you are more than welcome to take a look. The Brembo calipers are painted black but will need some repainting due to fading after 4 years of use. I replaced the brakes b/c I got a great deal on the Brembo 355 GT and couldnt pass it up. In hindsight, I probably was better off sticking with what I had.

Default Why do you think you were better off with the prior set up? Do you have complaints...

about the Brembo 355 kit? If so, what are the complaints...just curious as I have a 355 kit as well but have not had a whole lot of time to really push it.

Default no complaints.

Just feel that now I have had a chance to compare, i think it was an unnecessary upgrade. The brake feel is the same. As far as fade I have not had an opportunity to push the 355GT yet. I did go to Buttonwillow with the previous brakes and they were more than adequate.

Default Might call Speedware

I saw a heavily stripped Volvo 850 with StopTech HP40 calipers sitting in their shop. I asked them what the car was for and they said parts car. Calipers looked in good shape, would just need to find mounting brackets. Also might want to double check with Stoptech on piston size and compatibility with the S4.
