Default Anybody take out their first muffler, middle of car, on an aftermarket exhaust such as Milltek..
or Twin 2? I am thinking about doing that on my miltek for a little bit more bite but I am not sure how it will sound. I like the sound of the asp true dual but that has resonators in place of the first muffler. Should I just put in some resonators in its place?

Any tips or advice appreciated. First hand experience even more!

Default Wow, that is still very quiet! I am not doubting your post, but are you sure? : )
I have a miltek superdual and I know its louder than the single 3 inch miltek exhaust but that video is just silly quiet for having the first muffler removed. Thanks for your post.

Anybody else wanna chime in?

did the same to my mtm...still too quiet. hoping dps and test pipes will cure that!

Does it drone more with primary muffler gone? I wish somebody with a dual exhaust would chime in.

Default Yeah I did on my on my borla. Made a huge difference in tone etc. Cut out and put straight pipe.
Cost me like $50 to do it a few years ago.
