Default Strange, I thought the group would be a-buzz with the settlement info??
Those of us in the original 1999-2000 built S4s can finally get our crap Potenza RE040 tires replaced. And then some..

Default Jim, I received compensation for one of mine like 2 years ago...
...there was an Audi TSB or service campaign on it. It looks like you got the short end of the stick. I was actually thinking about objecting to the settlement, on 3 grounds: (1) I feel the snow tire claims are pretty bunk; (2) I thought AoA had undertaken a reimbursement campaign on their own back in 2001 for the fragile RE040s; and (3) I think the amount of attorneys fees the plaintiffs are asking for is outrageous.

Default whats stinks is I have potenzas on my car and it's a 2001.5
what do I do ?

I wouldn't mind being able to take advantage of that $1375 set of wheels and winters.
