First off, I've got to hand it to Comcast. The cable modem guy came and I was online in 20 minutes. No hassles, just wicked fast downloads. SWEET! No more dial-up for me.
Anyway, on to my point. I replaced my 710A BPV's with the upgraded TT (710N) valves over the weekend and the car feels noticeably quicker. The wierd thing was that I came into them with no expectations of increased performance, I basically just wanted the piece of mind, so I don't think it's placebo. Once the car was warmed up, I got on it to check the exhaust (which I had rehung). The throttle response was a good deal quicker. I always thought that my S4 had a good deal of lag, but now it feels great. I don't think the old valves were bad (they only had 7k miles on them), but who knows. The car just responds much quicker. To anyone who wants a cheap upgrade that may help the feeling of the car, I highly recommend switching to the 710N BPV's for $25 a piece from the dealer.

Hey I just did mine this past weekend also
Also in NJ I have to agree with you on the increased throttle response...my car also feels a bit stronger as the rpm's rise. My old BPV's were on their last leg though...
I'm going to hit the track possibly this weekend to see if I can run any better times.

Give them a call (clairparts) and give them the part number for the 710N's...they definitely have them and they have the best price (when I looked around 2 weeks ago).
