Anyone ever had the seal at the top of the windshield become defective?

Anyone ever had the seal at the top of the windshield become defective?
Guy who bought my old S4 says the seal is starting to come off, and he's getting a lot of wind noise. Hopefully Audi Assured will cover it, but I'd never heard of this problem before. Anyone else had this happen?

YES! But it's the rear window. The top seal is starting to bubble and rot...
Starting to peel away from the window. I don't get any wind noise probably because it's the rear window. Audi Assured will likely not cover it because they will give some bull**** answer like they did to me (might not apply to you because you live in the land of the Sun), they said mine was because it was from ice scraper damage from the owner (not true).

I recently had mine replaced and the shop didn't use an OEM seal.
It doesn't look as good and I don't think it will last as long. Was yours OEM, or did you ever replace the windshield?
