Default anyone ever looked into changing the steering ratio on the car

making it a bit quicker.......

can someone direct me to some info on the ins and outs of our stock system so i can learn it and see if it is possible.

first caution that came to mind was high speed sensitivity but we have something that numbs the input anyways right? so lets say i change the rack....would that suffice?

anyone thought of this?

Default Heh, sell your car and buy sheba then.....

You'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone. You'd have a sex toy and transportation, more than you can say about your S4 ;-)

Default iirc the RS4 rack has a quicker ratio. Use them in the racecar when they are available.

maybe that was the difference between A4 and S4 . . .

Default hey i need to tlak to you!!!!!

glad you replied, i dont have your email addy anymore.

there is a rally in tenn., seeing if you maybe wanted to get together while i am down there. i have to drive the truck down there and get set up before the drivers arrive, so i prolly will have time to kill.

can you spare the time?

They both list as 16.2:1 in the AW spec sheets though.

Default having driven one, there is *something* that makes it turn better than an S4...

...and it's not the 255 vs 225 tires. And it's not the front suspension, as it's relatively unchanged from an S4 (rear dampers are different).
