"lumpy cam"...normal and many high-performance cars do it.

Also, the 2.7T is a 90° V6 -- not the best design for a smooth six.

Default May be misfires

I have been playing with VAG and when I felt the rough idle, VAG indicated several misfires. The misfires were not consistent. The ECU monitors for misfires for a fixed period (like 30 seconds), then resets the count and start over. If the ECU counts too many misfires during a particular period, it sets a code. I did not get a code, but did get between 4 and 8 misfires during the monitoring periods I was watching.

I'm not sure why I'm getting misfires, but I'm guessing this is what others are feeling as well.

Default I don't think the cam's that radical...

Every 12V 2.8 does the same.
