Default Anyone has pictures of rolled fenders?

I am seriously considering putting 255/35 18 tires on my car, and it looks like I will have to roll the fenders to make them fit.

I am just curious on how it looks, if it is visually disturbing...

BTW, would 255/35 18 fit on SSR comps 8.5'' rims?

Thanks a lot.

You don't roll anything you can see. A picture isn't going to show much.

Default Ok, so all the work is done inside the fender right?

which means you do not see the difference from the outside.

Am I correct?

Default how much space can you get rolling the fenders

I want to go with 245 series rubber which fit in the rear with a 4mm spacer but rubbing is still likely to be a problem up front

Default tip: be careful of this spot on the fender....

As careful as I was rolling mine, there's a little trouble spot that the roller doesn't like to roll evenly. You can see the little shine on my fender where it's not quite smoothly rolled. We did a bunch of cars the same day and all 5 who have the updated fenders had the issue. I believe it was the '99.5+ A4s and all S4s that have the newer fenders. You really can't see it in person, but the camera doesn't lie:

Default reading a VAG/lap top checking for codes before the first session.

glad we had it... I went into limp mode during a session (3rd, I think) and found the Speed Limit with the smiley face code. probably over-rev'ed a downshift. oops.

cleared it and back to normal.
