Default Anyone have pictures for a boost gauge location OTHER than A-pillar or vent?

I have STFA exhaustively and can only find dead images.

I do not want to put my boost gauge on the a-pillar, even though it looks very sharp. The SPP package is rather expensive for a mechanical VDO gauge, and I have concerns about the airbag launching the gauge at the passenger.

AWE's vent gauge is nice, but just like the SPP kit, the Omari gauge is mechanical and paying $240 is a bit high for a mechanical gauge (you can get a VDO gauge for under $50).

I want the peak, hold, warn features of an electrical gauge and do not mind the 60mm size. Does anyone know of a center vent bracket for a 60mm gauge? It does not have to be molded in the same shape as the vents, a vertical face would be fine.

Anyone have any other suggestions for the location?

Default Last I read here, it had been shown that the A-pillar gauge doesn't interfere with airbag deployment

Pic in link shows airbag deployed from back of A-pillar toward rear.

BTW, are there any major advantages to electrical over mechanical gauges?

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/372027.phtml</a

Removed the vent cover and use some friction tape to hold it in.
