Please describe what you are experiencing. I might be able to help you a little.

I've also heard described on the BBS a "peakiness" associated with the throttle response of the MTM rev H ECM. What I'm experiencing is a "flat spot" in the throttle response in the 2.7-3.5 KRPM range when driving in part-throttle (not WOT) mode. By flat I mean non-linear; acceleration stops. At first I thought it was an ignition miss; feels similar. When I hit the flat spot if I push the accelerator down a little faster I can get the engine to continue pulling--in a smooth linear fashion; but then my foot has to behave in a non-linear manner. After installation of the ECM, I used VAG-COM to do throttle adaptation. I also cleared the DTC of power fail and performed all the "readiness" routines specified by the factory manual as post DTC clearing procedure. I've rechecked the DTC after putting several score hours on the MTM ECM and it is clean (so evidently not an ignition miss since that would have been logged).

No, but I'd sure like to know. It's pretty annoying.

Default Have had no problems with my MTM L box...just smooth kick *** power

If you do have a tip you have to remember that the tranny is multiadaptive and at something like 30 times a second read the throttle response and such and bases the engine response on how much power it thinks you want. Try driving in stick mode and see if it happens

Yep, I have EXACTLY that problem with my H box. E-mailed Ned@Hoppen but haven't heard anything yet.

I fixed it by changing brands. Smooth as can be now.
