Anyone here change their manual tranny oil to get better shifting and better protection?.....
I want to change to a good synthetic tranny oil, like Amsoil.
However, I heard that the tranny oil should only be Audi tranny oil and that it is a "lifetime" oil....from an Audi mechanic.
That just sounds wrong.
Could it lead to any potential problems, especially if I use the same weight oil....or does Audi oil have some "special" stuff in it?
Anyone make the switch and have good results? If so, what oil did you use?
