Default Anyone here have a blitzsafe aux and a Nav+ RNS-D?

My Nav+ doesn't recognize a working Blitzsafe aux. adapter attached to the CD changer 13 pin.

The Nav+ is coded properly but the message on the screen shows "no cd changer"

Any thoughs?

Erik

Default Yup, and you have to disconnect and reconnect the battery to reset the radio.

Sounds stupid, but I went through all my connections for a few minutes until I more carefully read the instructions. Seemed silly, but it worked.

Have your security code handy. Do a throttle body adaptation afterward, and you'll have to rest 1-touch windows.

Default I'll give it a shot when I get home.

Do you have to do the throttle body adapt? I've never done one, is it hard?

Thanks for the help...

Default 13 pin... Oh, you're doing the trunk mounted adapter? No grounding then.

A TBA is best done with a VAG-Com. Direction are on Ross-Tech's site, but in short go to Measuring Block 60 (I think... double check) and switch to Basic Settings. Hit Go and you'll see the throttle position readings change. It will be done when it reads OK. Don't touch the accelerator pedal.

If you don't have a VAG-Com, turn the key to the ON position without starting and without touching the accelerator. Leave it there for a minute -- you should hear a slight buzzing as it moves.

Thanks, I'll use the Vag-Com.

Default I just tried the battery disconnect and nothing changed.

The head unit is supposed to read disc 1 track 99 I think. It read "no cd changer" again.

I'm stumped!
