looks like a faded white zigzaggy star around the little black plastic airbag label. dealer says aftermarket rack did not let the door seal properly and that they traced the path of the water from the staining to the rack. i think the front window was not installed correctly because i was at a touchless car wash the other day and i saw small drops of water on the dash after the high power spray. any thoughts?? also, how do the audi racks mount? are they not similar to yakima/thule??

...clips that "hook" around the door. I never had any issues with my Yakima rack on my A4, but I took a lot of time to ensure that the clips were adjusted perfectly so they wouldn't be too tight nor too loose. A rack that isn't adjusted properly (width-wise) could push the rubber seal too far outward and cause water leakage problems.

No problems with my Thule rack. Same type of connection.
