Anyone know anything about the claims of Iridium spark plugs vs. platinum?
They claim up to 0.7 sec. gain in 0-150 k/mh.

They didn't say what kind of engine was tested.
Usually, the bigger the engine, the greater the gains. I HIGHLY doubt it will have a significant effect on a engine like ours. If anything, a Ignition coil upgrade would yield more results. Take these manufacture's claims with a grain of salt.

do you have any idea how much an ignition coil upgrade would cost?!?!?!?
We have individual coils on each plug on our S4. Iv'e seen dyno pulls with a TT supra which has individual coils per plug also and it made 7whp peak and about 2-3 whp across the rev range using the denso iridium plugs.

my experience with the Platinum plugs...
recently installed in a car here in Asia. While tuning the tip of the plug in cylinder 1 exploded. and broke the top of my exhuast valve.
