Default Unfortunately, there is a general lack of specialists in the Hartford area...

In the wintertime (when I didn't want to freeze my toosh off), I have used:

Robert's Auto Sales
278 Hudson St
Hartford, CT 06106
(860) 522-2076

For these sorts of mechanical jobs (wheel bearing). A friend also had them change a timing belt and do some valvetrain work on an A4 1.8T. They probably aren't the cheapest, seem to know what they are doing and did a good job.

But they aren't specifically Audi specialists. If you want to put an RS4 clutch in then you are likely going to have to do the research yourself and provide them with the correct parts.

Good luck!

Stephen

Default Just don't ask to bring your own stuff... they yelled at me when i asked how much it would cost in

labor to replace my ABS unit if I supplied the part.... i dunno i've heard they are real good from a bunch of different people but when i called who ever i talked to ripped me a new one for absolutely no reason. Dynamic auto works (or some name to that effect) in Canton is suppose to be good. A tuning shop (momentum tuning in wallingford) highly recommended them and when i spoke with them on the phone they seemed to be very knowledgable, but i haven't gotten any work done there yet.

Default This is the attitude of a lot of places...

They want to make the labour AND the markup on the parts. Fortunately, it is a competitive world. :-)
