Default Anyone know if the Omori Boost Gauge has a replacable LED? I can get them for a good price but...

the ones I can get have a green backlight. I'm looking at the 52mm Mechanical Boost Gauge with readings of 30Hg to 25psi. I'm wondering if I can easily replace the LED with a red one. The VDO gauges are nice and affordable but the Omori matches much better because of the white needle. If this pans out I may be able to get them for a pretty good price for anyone interested. I'll let you guys know.

Default I don't think so.

I have a green one that I picked up a few years ago. At that time I checked with Omori in Japan and they told me it had to be returned to them to be changed and it wasn't worth it. If you find out anything different, let me know as I'd love to change mine.

Hey John, off-topic, who did your timing belt change for you? And at what mileage?

Default Neil at 82Autowerks. First was at 80k, second was at 140k, only because it was

already all apart for unrelated work.

Default Its replaceable if you take the thing apart(destroy it) and solder a new one on.

Mine came with the wrong lighting initially and that was the first thing I started to try. The LEDs in my 60mm electronic are part of the circuit board, unsocketed.
