Anyone know what the differences are btw the RS4 engine mounts and the S4 engine mounts?

aixgelo78 got them recently...

He has an A4 with an S4 engine. He through the RS4 mounts in when he upgraded to a stage III. Maybe he can comment on the differences in feel or construction. The only problem is he doesn't post too often though. If I see him posting, I'll refer him back to this thread.

I was going to ask this in the next few days. I'm considering installing them when my engine is out.

bought them when I did my turbo swap....

they're supposed to be slightly stiffer than the stock s4 mounts according to ECS. Honestly I can't tell the difference virbration wise. Shifting is a bit more crisp, but that could be because I also installed my snub mount and replaced the tranny mounts.

BTW you still deciding on which clutch to get? If it helps you make up your mind. I've had atleast 125+ drag passes in ~ 1.5 years and 10k miles on my RS4 clutch. I'm still able to spin the tires off the line if I'm not careful. It feels just like new. Oh I finally got a good launch this weekend also(1.720 60ft), but the car still slow.

Hmm, sounds like I'll stick with S4 mounts. Still haven't decided on the clutch.

yeah S4 mounts seem fine, but I figured for $4 more I would just get the RS4 mounts

I'll just keep the ones I got. I'm sure they are in good condition with less than 30k miles on 'em.
