Default Anyone know what would be causing this?

I'm getting a funny beam pattern from my passenger side low beam. I just installed e-codes and I'm kinda stumped.

Messed up passenger side:

Good driver's side:

Maybe bulb installed upside down. You will need to do the leveling that vag the levelers.

Default I thought someone posted almost the exact same pictures a couple of months back and it was ...

due to a bulb being installed incorrectly.

The ceramic rod part of the bulb should be pointed down right? After I manually level I'll use VAG

Don't remember. It's been like 3 years since I installed them. Sorry.

Default Most likely the bulb is in upside down...

They have a little metal tab that acts like a "key", but they can be put in wrong. Here is what it looks like when the bulb is in a stock housing upside down:

Default If it's upside down, I should be pretty easy to notice...

there's a notch in the plastic part of the bulb that has to be lined up with a protrusion where it sits on the housing and it should be on the bottom side, If it's not sitting in that spot your bulb isn't seated all the way in.
