Anyone know why there was so darn much corrosion on rear wheel hubs when changing
wheels. I got my car at the end of April, never drove in snow with salt or sand,
wash the car once a week, but there was corrosion like I'd never expect in a year old car after driving it all winter. Front wheels were fine, however. At this rate, with our winters and amount of salt on the road, the dang things will fall off in 5-6 years.

Did that, thanks. Just wonder why they don't do something like that from factory
if they recognize its a problem. And are the front hubs a different alloy since there was no corrosion there?

Many vehicles are like that...
The first time I put snow tires on my Jeep Wrangler (15" alloys) the fronts came right off but the rears were pretty solidly corroded to the hubs and needed to be "persuaded" a bit with a rubber mallet...
