Default Anyone tweak fuel w/ Lemmiwinks on X-chip w/ stage 1-2+? Suggestions wanted.

Started logging a little today to see what the baseline is for O2 voltages, timing correction, etc.

At WOT, lower rpms (say up to around 3.5K) look OK I guess - O2s around 0.85, knock no higher than 18V, 1-3 degrees of timing pulled.

WOT @ higher rpms a little different - O2s in the low 0.90 range, no timing pulled, little knock sensor activity. Definitely room for improvement.

So, should I start with cutting back primary fuel a bit or add timing or both? I'm concerned I'll screw up low rpms when adjusting for higher rpms. Just wondering what others have done to get a head start.
Thanks for any suggestions

Default

Secondary fuel pull back would lower your 02 voltages at WOT and adding timing might help.

Default A tad rich at WOT, you would want to pull from the secondary fuel tweak *POSSIBLY*. How do you

your fuel trims look (Idle & Part Throttle - Block 032) ?

Default Care to share what settings you're dialed in at? :-)

I won't hold it against ya if you don't, just thought I'd ask.

You know, I thought secondary was for part throttle only but based on your response, I see it is "under load" which I assume also includes WOT.

Default They are both a little on the negative side but no more than 5%

So they look good.

Default Sure, I'll share my settings. Setting inside.....

Everything is set to default. I don't floor my car anymore nor do I drive it much really. When I want to go have fun, I choose other cars. My S4 is now just for me to get from point A to point B...until my engine comes out and the fun begins.

Default Idle fuel trims should be around 0, and part throttle can vary, most

prefer to run a tad rich for safety, maybe -2 to -5.

Default My LTFTs look fine. I need to do some more clean pulls.

Not many empty roads to get a good run to see what's going on.

Looking at my logs again it looks like there is still some timing pulled even when O2s rise up to 0.9v. Since I was recording 3 blocks (0.9 sec sampling) and didn't have much room to get up too high in the revs, it's hard to see the whole picture. I may have let off the gas when the knock voltage dropped back down in the same row of data.

I guess I have to conclude (so far) that X on 93 octane has a good balance of fuel and timing up to 4000 rpm. ...and why woudn't it, the folks at GIAC know what they're doing.
I'll still get to some empty roads and see what 4-6.5K look like.

Trading a little timing for lower O2s still might be something to try.
