Anyone here have any glitches with their APR stage 2+? And is It a huge difference over stage one?

i dunno if it was the programming or what....but after installing thier downpipes, mtm cat back, and the APR ECU....my car was slower than stock..so i tore everything out and started over again....not saying that APR is no good (i had thier chip in my A4) but just didn't work out for my S...

According to APR, its the same program as the Stage 1.

I have been driving with the 2+ chip in a 2000 S4 without downpipes and exhaust for a few weeks. Power is good and delivery quite smooth. Feels very comparable to the MTM and ABT chips I have driven. Tomorrow I will hopefully get my downpipes and exhaust installed. From what I understand, the only difference between the 2+ chip is some code to elimiate the errors produced by removing the pre-cats.

Just from what I hear on the board the 2000 APR chips seem to be somewhat more sorted than the 2001's I can't however comment on this from my own personal experience as the only 2001 S4 I have driven had an ABT chip.

Stage 2+ software is not the same as Stage I.

I was at Waterfest, asked to the guys at the APR booth and was told it was the same.
