aprv5 - 2, 350z - 1
 

saw a very sweet new 350z on the way home from work, guy was driving aggressively, so i manueverd to get to a stop light next to him

1st run, from stoplight, he got the move, i wasn't sure if he was going for it. sure enough, he chirped the launch and went WOT, good driver, solid launch. I launched easy @ 3kish, no chirp, went from 1 car behind to 2 in front, exhaust going WWRRHRHRHRHSSS like the damn sandblaster machine it is.

2nd run, roll on from about 20-80, i boned the 2-3 shift, and he got 2 cars ahead. I tried to close the gap, but only got it down by a car.

3rd run, nice clear shot on the road, long enough to stage properly.. roll on, 3 honks and GO!

again 20-80 (maybe more ahem :), solid pull on him by 2 cars or so, but he kept up pretty good.

good driver, his shifts were solid and that first lauch was VERY good.

exchanged thumbs up and plenty of smiles, good guy, clean fun.

the sandblaster noise you are hearing, do you hear it from the rear of the car / exhaust or from the front of the car? I hear something like it when i get on it, but i have no leaks. just turbo spool sound.

probably milltek 3", need something mellow/stealth

strat was having a "scratch and dent" sale on miltek, you should give em a call. I cant believe how expensive exhausts are for our cars, i got my old style borla for dirt cheap!
