dealer just called and said they did my 24K service..using my Mobil1 0w40 that I supplied
BUT when I asked him YESTERDAY if they would use a new oil filter..he said yes
Now he calls and said they forgot to change the filter and would I like that done?
"and how are you going to do that without drain all the $6/Q, oil out?"
"oh, it sits high enough not to be a problem"
"did you modify my oilpan since I brought it it?"
"no"
"then WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SMOKING?"
ahhhh..never should have brought my barely obtainable 0w40 to these morons

That's too much - the part about the filter not causing the oil to drain from the pan is one of the
funniest things I have heard in quite a while.
