Default ASP motor mounts! Feedback wanted!

According to SupraS4::ASP-gt28's post, he said you can "feel" them at slow speeds.

I don't want motor mounts that will give my car a vibration at idle.

Any feedback from those who have been in cars with the ASP mounts? Thanks!

Eric Von Ha? Was he saying there was vibration, or they're very stiff at low mph?

Default The competition mounts are pretty stiff, literally the engine does not move at all

I've only had the car for less than 24 hours and only have 412 miles on it since the kit, so right now they are still stiff and causing vibration in the car at idle. They are mellowing out though. At first it could really be felt, now it's just kind of a background vibration. I expect over the course of the next few thousand miles they'll break-in more and the vibration will be less.

I'll keep the forum updated as I drive the car more. Right now it's early in the game

Default sorry guys, no ASP motor mounts here... my point of view is this however...

if you've already put custom wheels on your car with a lower aspect ratio, if you've already got the loud Stg 3 buildup, if you've already got some one of the rear trans mount DTS supports... then don't sweat the possibility of a little more vibration through the car.

The 2.7t is a smooth, smoooooth running motor that is finely balanced to begin with... so, unless you've changed your flywheel with a misbalanced version, you're not going to feel much additional above your current setup.

Don't sweat it-- long story short. Go for it.

As you start to see more and more 600hp S4's being produced with the latest run of custom ASP manifolds, this is going to expose the weaknesses of the drivetrain to the nth degree. Knowing how many trans and motor mounts have failed/leaked with 1/2 the hp, I'd definitely be getting more of a solid motor mount to counteract the already known weak link.

I don't understand why we don't have any options for solid rear diff mounts. Is it not a problem?

They can't be worse than shot trans mounts as you've experienced in my car IMHO
