Don't know if you Americans heard that Audi UK had a drivers day at Silverstone F1 circuit last weekend. All the potential RS4 drivers got to have a go in one of 6 RHD cars they had at the event.Although the drive was very short, it comprised of a Slalom test, acceleration and then emergency stop test.

The car is beautiful (avus silver especially so...gunmetal gray with a touch of ultraviolet..just like the original press shots)the electronics ESP etc certainly do their job, however some of the more enthusiastic drivers feel that the actual skill of driving has been taken away.

At the end of the day, we all got driven round the F1 circuit by a pro driver with all the electronics switched off !!! Supreme fun going down Hangar straight @ 135MPH and then knocking it down to 50 ish to go through Stowe sideways !!

I am sure others will have more comments DaveH etc.
