Default Audi s4 new owner and of course need help/love it

SO I have an update for all of those of you who probably don't care anyways lol. The deal with the dealer went well, he was very nice, and the car looked beautiful. It does have this weird whining noise followed by a rush of torque...I heard this is how Germans like myself tune their cars though so whatever.

I do have a question though so I got on it hard at about 300-400 miles and the check engine light came on, and gas mileage worsened so I am assuming o2? I figure he just "neglected" to tell me about that. Either way, you all are awesome, thanks for the help. I haven't met a group of guys like you since the turbo lexus guys. BTW a guy on the forums sold me a set of 710b diverters...I later found out that I wanted n's. Should I put these on? I am stock for now, but really what are th limits of these new diverters?

I would just swap the diverters anyway since it should only take a couple minutes (30ish) to swap them out anyway.

Don't assume what is wrong with your car. Know it. Find somebody in your local area with a VAG COM to read your codes that caused check engine light (CEL). Most of us here have VAGs.

Many autoparts stores will scan your car for free and give you a nice little printout of what it could be, then you can look up the codes or ask here.

VAG works well, too.
