Default audi wheels

does anyone know if the 18" BBS or type RS4 wheels on the audi site that they sell for the A6 will fit on the S4?

I would love to get some 18's but want to keep the car looking like an Audi.

As long as they fit the A6 2.7T or 4.2 model, you should be OK.

Default The RS4 wheel is ony available as a 17" unless...

...you get an actuall set of 18's off someones RS4 (but they are made of a different alloy and bend easy, read rs4.org). I have the 17" version, purchased last month from my dealer and love em (even at $2000/set).

Default That is not an 18" version your friend has. Its a 17...

just like mine. You can tell the difference as true RS4 18's have a different look to the spoke. I'll point it out in a second once I locate a good pic for reference.

Default They are 18's...

If not, it wouldn't fit over the 355mm Brembo brake kit.

You can order 18" RS4 style wheels with the offset for the S4 (they are $$$$$). Nene has them.

Default Compare 17 VS 18 Picture

<img src="http://www.carbonlord.com/compare_wheels.jpg">

Basically, the 18's are more concave as the spoke length is longer and flares fatter at the end of the spokes. Look around for other angles or 18" RS 4 wheels and it becomes more apparent. Nenne's picture poster shows the box they came in with product # labled which is the same # as the 17" RS4 Type wheel I purchased from my Audi Dealership. If they are 18's, Id like to know where they came from and why they hold the 17" spoke design and product #?
