Autocross setup questions
I just started autocrossing as a novice and am going to class D stock next session. This is in the Atlanta area. For D stock, some modifications are allowed, provided I read the rule book right. Shocks, front sway bar, tires, and I think thats about it. Just looking for some suggestions from some of you guys with experience.
What I noticed during my event was that the car slid a lot, (Falken St115 tires, not good for autocrossing, I know.. but it's what I had), rolled a lot, and the front tires were fairly chewed up while the rears looked fine. Any help would be greatly appriciated. TIA

I assumed asking for advice was the same as asking a question.... see inside
Tires, sway bar, shocks, etc... What type have you run, would you run, going to run etc. What setup works best for you. What tire pressures have worked well... etc. Hopefully that clears up the question part. Any help is appriciated, and yes, I do realize becoming a better driver will help more than any modification. Hopefully that satisfies your urge for a direct question.

buy a mazda miata and put good rubber on it...it will always be faster than your S in the autocross
no matter how much cash you throw at the audi. These cars are heavy and that doesn't work well with quick and tight turns. Now if you've got some open straights where the hp makes up the difference, that's another story.
All IMO though.
edit: but if you are just in it for fun, get some Tracksports, H-sports, and sticky rubber and you will be fine handling wise.

first off
asking a question requires one of these (?) even in your second post, you were asking questions but using the wrong punctuation.
secondly, their are TONS of differnt items to choose from in regards to tires, sways, shocks, etc. etc.
how much are you willing to spend? that would be more of a specfic ideal starting place.
