Avants who put a full size spare in. what size did you put there?

Because I put in a 225/45-17 and I had to wedgie it in there. This was after I took off the plastic crossbar. Did you bend the metal lip from the trunk latch?
This was an Avus rim, and it scratched the inner lip/face against the hump when it went down.

225/45/17 w/ avus. it's a pain and need to twist and jiggle
(the tire/wheel that is), but you can get it into the wheel well without scratching.
definitely need to pull that plastic piece. not sure about your trunk latch Q. i didn't do anything other than pull the plastic piece.
