AW search results on APR Stage 1 chip resulted in more questions....answers please

I'm getting the APR chip, but i don't see anything on the B5 forum about new coding for stage 1?

Anyone with APR chip who can give me their overall impressions, or if you've had any problems with the chip after install?

I'm also looking for a local tuner in SoCal that is APR friendly...just in case...

I thought the new revision APR software was only for stage 3

Version 5 is the latest for K03s. Think it came out in 2003'ish. Its a good, smooth chip

on 93, don't know what it's like on the 91oct you're likely stuck with.

I ran it for 4yrs(APR, diff versions) as my primary software with GIAC X and AMS periods in between. Had no issues.

2nd APRv5 is nice. L308x GIAC also smooth.

I have had both of these including previous versions (V3, V3.3 APR) and K08x GIAC.

I've had the V5.0 for a couple of years and it is very smooth and powerful for a stage I chip.

both with k03s and has been flawless with k04s.

Version 5 here

Have the APRv5 and love it. Very smooth and easy to drive. It has really made the car fun to drive and I only have the chip and S-Flo in so far. I can't wait for exhaust and other parts to be put in. I have a Vag and it has never pulled any codes. Hope that helps.
