Default AWE Boost Gauge question follow up..so...

it sound like my idle reading is high..around 25..so assuming this would impact the max pressure reading..i am seeing a peak of 15psi (see sig for mods) when the car is off the needle is at 10hg..all the hoses look secure so i dont think i have a leak..any ideas??

original post

Default You gauge is not zeroing out properly. Mine sits dead at 0 when off.

It reads about 20-22 inHg for vacuum.

Default There is a little gold color filiment in the Y splitter for the FPR vac line

make sure that filiment is on the part of the Y splitter going to the boost gauge (kinda confusing, hope you understand what i'm saying)

Default Just reread your post, didn't see that when the car was off it was at 10 Hg

So what distinct is saying is correct. I don't think there is a way to "zero" it. Probably have to send the gauge back to AWE is my guess, but I could be wrong.
