I started installing my DTS today and noticed a major problem I thought some of you might be able to help me out with..

The aluminum plate in this picture does not bolt up to my transmission.

The two holes on the tranmission are spaced much further apart than the two holes on the plate that take the tapered screws.

Anyone experience this problem? Did I read something wrong in the directions? Strangely enough the two outer holes on the transmission seem to bolt up to the aluminum plate perfectly. Is this plate only used on the A4 and maybe not on the S4? Just want to clarify before I continue..

For anyone that cares that is not used on the S4..

and screw right into the trans. Makwe sure to run a thread chaser (tap) through the threads to get the rust out or else you won't be able to tighten the bolts down.
