Default AWE or RS4 smic?

can not decide which intercooler to go with. want to just be able to install without hassle of major cutting or fighting to get to fit and i know the rs4 seems like that but also cheaper than awe's. though i know both are effecient intercoolers which one should i go with. is 300 dollars worth saving the hassle of trying to fit the rs4? or maybe even a fmic?

Default AWEs all the way. I've installed both and the AWEs are SO much easier AND work better - measured at

EPL's dyno day last summer. The difference is significant - AWEs work better and also come with really nice fiberglass ducting.

Default what ever is cheaper at the end i would say,

the performance diff btw them is very low, now rs4 might be a pain to install.

Be sure to read LI-S4's research. No AWE data, but very enlightening.

Default AWE, IMO (and I have APR)....I've installed both and AWE's are easier to install....

There is cutting involved with both, but the APRs require bumper cutting too and the AWE's do not.

The AWE IC shrouds are awesome.

If I had to do it over again, I'd go with AWE.

Default AWE's are better, but RS4's are cheaper and if you need to replace one, RS4's

are alot easier to find.

2nd. AWE's are definitely worth the money. Now if those ER's would be released already....
