BBS CH 17*8.5 - what centering ring do I need? I didn't get any with the wheels,it vibrates at 80MPH

BBS CH 17*8.5 - what centering ring do I need? I didn't get any with the wheels,it vibrates at 80MPH

Need a centering ring that adapts from the centerbore the BBS wheels (???) to the Audi hub (57.1mm)

Contact Mike @ PureMS or Tire Rack. They can probably get you the rings you need.

I am gonna get it eventually but is it DANGEROUS for now? I am gonna track the car this weekend!!!

I definitely would NOT track the car without the centering rings.

and spring for the metal ones. especially if you are tracking.

Default The only thing about the metal one I didn't like was....

they were hard as hell to take off when you needed to get them off. The only way to get out was a screwdriver (or some type of extended handle tool) and a hammer (rubber of course). That was the only way I could break the corrosion bond and release that metal retaining ring that was in there.

Default Damn! I thought everything's set for track! DAMN! I'd lose my track fee! Most have said it'd be ok..

but gotto check the wheel nut torque often to make sure all is good...

Should I risk it? My tire shop, mechanic, and a cpl of shops I called to get the centre ring said it's just annoying and vibrates and won't be dangerous?!
