Best RPM to shift at for 0-60 runs...
Just wondering when you should shift for the best 0-60 times. Is shifting at the redline the best because I notice that the power kinda drops off at the end and was wondering if that means you would shift sooner to remain in the high power band? Thanks for the info.

For the most part, Lehigh is correct.
Ideally what you want to do is shift at the right rpm so when you hit the next gear you have the same torque at the wheels as you did before the shift (or just before the curve peaks). If you had an S2000, then redline is where you want to be.
So, optimum shift point would be (using 2nd-3rd shift for example sake)
2nd gear tq @ XXXXrpm = 3rd gear tq @ XXXXrpm

1-2 shift should be done at or near redline...
because the ratio drop is BIG between those two gears (also the reason why the 1-2 synchros get wrecked easily when speed/power shifting).
For the later gears you'll want to shift earlier and earlier... especially if you are chipped.

What is the best RPM to shift at in each gear? Please respond, I am always bouncing off rev limiter.
