A big thank you for helping with Vonk's silver bullet (stage III+ avant)...
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/52861/moabgoats_and_business_017.t.jpg"></center><p>As some of you know, I bought Vonk's avant three months ago, upgraded to APR's newest software for stage III and still had terrible results with over-boost and engine cutting out even as low as 100 millibars (I think around 12 psi on the boost). Thanks to suggestions a month or two ago regarding spark plugs, I had my tuner order up and replace the plugs two shades cooler (I run the car at 7000 feet) and it has made a huge difference. Now the car pulls hard all the way to 142 or so and the MBC limits the boost to around 145 or so. The car is incredibly fast.
I use the car as my daily driver and I drive a lot. I have put 8,000 on the car in 3 months, mostly freeway and back road driving in the Rocky Mountains, over many 10,000+ passes and the car is a joy. I have Dunlop wintersport M3's on RS4 reps now (see picture), and the combination works well in the snow and at speed.
As I approach 20,000 miles total on the car, with the sport interior and the many modifications this car has, I realize how much fun it is to drive and how there is nothing on the road that compares with this car in all aspects-fun, performance, carrying capacity, etc. And, I love the stealth factor.

Thanks, and now I need help selling all the stock stuff I got with the car.
See the classifieds, especially for a good deal on H and R coilovers that would work with a sedan or avant. Only 1,000 miles on them.

wow. you got a stage 3 used w/ 12,000mi! didn't realize VonK's car had so little mileage!

Yeah, I thought it was the lowest mileage out there, but someone at the time said they
have a black one with 11K miles. Even at 19,300K miles now, it has to be one of the lowest mileage B5 stage III avants around.
