Default Blown K03 turbo sound...
Alright. I finally got around to uploading my videos. See the link below for the crying wail of my dead K03 turbo which happened a few weeks ago at 44k miles. This is a second web site because the first didn't have enough storage space. I recommend viewing the videos on the first site, though, in order to get a good frame of reference on the sound (http://carterfields.tripod.com/).

Default Yeah, as the turbo had to spin above the idle speed that it would wail.
I wish I could have seen the blown turbo after the dealer removed it. I'm not quite sure what happened.

Yep, that is it. It sounds like crap. Almost as bad as Piggie's tea kettle sound

Default Actually, no. This was the metallic howling sound of a blown turbo...
the clean siren sound was before the turbos blew. I know it sounds like semantics but there's definitely a HUGE difference when you driving the car.
