Default Boost Controllers?

Has anyone added a Boost Controller (like HKS, A'Pexi)? Is one needed? It just seems like it would be better if you could control how much Boost you have that way you could save some gas milage on the hiway, then crank it up when you want to play. Is there one available for the S4?<p>'00 S4 Black/Onyx - Tip

Default Re: Boost Controllers?

It most certainly work with drive by wire...all it does is manipuate when te wastegate open and closes. A few I know here are using them on S4's, but i think a chip is teh better way to go. I mean, if you are light on the throttle, you're barely building boost anyway (ame thing on the highway). Plus, you get the added benefits of the correct fuel and timing maps to go with teh bost changes.<p>Imola Yellow/Onyx; Black/Black S2000; Rally Blue 2.5RS Turbo; Galant VR4; Datsun 280 ZX Turbo (the fast car of the bunch!)
