Boost gauge installed. Now I have questions on reading the darned thing.
Just want to make sure the gauge is working. I have reached .5 bar without too much throttle. I haven't really WOT to see if I could.
Note: I was very careful in making sure this poly-something or other 4mm tubing did not crimp. It is flexible but has a pretty high yield strength (I couldn't pinch it with my fingers to make it bend).
I need someone to please answer the following considering a stock ECU.
1) At idle where should the needle be? At 0 (zero) or in the negatives (vacuum)?
2) When should the needle be at 0 (zero)? Would it be under minimum (1/4) to moderate (1/2) throttle?
3) a) When will I see max boost at .8 bar considering stock reaches these limits?
or b) Under what specific (yes, give example of how you would do it) driving condition can I expect to see .8 bar?
Thanks all!!!

Some answers..
1) Idle should be in vacuum.
2) Zero when manifold pressure equals atmospheric pressure. No specific throttle position.
3) a) Max boost when engine is under full accerationn load. It might not stay there for long.
b) Acceleration up hill. Something which would put heavy load on the engine.

Ok then the thing looks like it's working. Now I just need...
my 60mm a-pillar pod from SPP (Supreme Parts Problem - just kidding guys) to be delivered and then I take the suction cup off my window where my boost gauge hangs.
Thanks Kent!
Thanks Kent!
