Default Brake pad light came on after taking a hard left turn. Pads don't look that bad....

.. Where is it that I need to check to see if the sensor wire is disconnected? .. Have other peoples brake pad lights gone on when it doesn't seem too low? ...

What tools will I need to do the brake pad change on the front wheels?

Default Agreed - this happens to me at the track sometimes when I'm running low pads

The fluid runs low in reservoir as a result, and then the light flashes and beeps three times on hard corners. I ignore it until I change pads (pushing the fluid back into the cylinder), but if your pads are okay, then you should probably add some fluid.

Yep, fluid level is the likely culprit.

Default I think he was talking about the small red e-brake light, and you are talking about the big orange..

(O) light that comes up where the trip info is.

Not the emergency brake light but the (O) symbol on the dash?

Default Front top inside pad has the sensor on it.

You'll need a pair of pliers, two flat head screwdrivers, and typical stuff to remove/reinstall the wheel. If you need to change the rotor as well, you'll need a socket (forget what size), mallet, breaker bar, and that's about it.

Default Ya think the sensor may have just acted up, or is it good to just replace?

What brakes should I buy? .. Standard OEM?
