Default Brake pads ??

I have searched through AW for specific brake pads (Pagid, PBR, Ferodo- found out Ferodo doesn't make em for S4 fronts?) and would like input from you guys since all the rest of the info is in 200 different posts.

I am looking for an everyday pad, that also performs well (tracked maybe 4 times a year), is not too hard on the rotors, and *hopefully* doesn't dust as bad as the stock pads. I have gotten suggestions of Pagid Blue, PBR ceramic, and Ferodo (I was told they don't make the 4 pad set up that our S4's have in the front? sorry, I am a n00b). ATM have stock brake system, just looking for pads for now, due to $$ situation, or lack of it.

Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Default PBR Ceramic, ECS.

I've hear that it is a good street and occasional track pad.

Default Keep em coming please :)

Would love ot hear comments and suggestions from you long-time S4 owners who also hit the track occasionally. TIA Oh yeah, daily driven in Colorado too (not sure if that matters for pads).

Default Street Pads for Street. Race pads for Race

Don't. Street pads are designed to work at the lower temps for a reason. Race pads are designed to work at high temps for a reason. Don't mix them up.

A rock solid street pad are the Axxis Deluxe Plus. You can get them from Stoptech. Not too expensive either.

If you want to race on a track, then buy separate pads for that. You'll be happy you did.

I've been very happy with Porterfield R4S for the street - very little dust.
