Brake squeal in reverse (revisited)
Went to the dealer to get my 10K service and asked about my brake squeal in reverse situation and he said it's due to the "non-asbestos, semi-metallic brake pads they use nowadays."
It seems the servo effect explaination here made more sense to me but I don't know if the service technician is blowin' smoke.
Will better brake pads help? Just wondering. TIA
BTW, a $72K 2001 M3 is next door at BMW Concord....Geez.
