To make it even worse it cost me $113!!

Man I definitely have to start looking at Stage 3- programming from GIAC.

If it's programming I surely hope AWE helps me out cause I'm not a happy camper.

Anyone else has a GOOD idea that does not involve spending too much money??

Yesterday's post

Default Well, you could do a simple test if you have access to a regular X-chip......

This would make it easier to tell if you have a hardware problem since your boost should be goofy with any software if it's a hardware issue.

If you can get an X-chip in there (for KO3s) and a MBC, you can cap boost at ~16psi (to prevent throttle cut) and log again. No need for a TCD and on plain jane KO4s, you will not outflow stock injectors at 16psi.

If your boost curve looks perfect, I'd say something if up with your 3- file. If your boost curve still looks funny, then back to the drawing board.

Default I don't have access to a regular X chip...Would have to reflash to X and then back to Stage 3-....

I REALLY don't want to go through that hasle just to find out its the programming!! Honestly, I feel like I've been chasing my tail for more than six (6) months now and the programming seems like the only possible explanation.

I'm conviced it's not the hardware..

1. No codes (except for 02 sensors from runnig test pipes and mysfires from when boost goes bersek.)

2. New N75

3. New T fittings

4. New hoses from wastegate and boost lines to N75.

5. New Hitachi MAF

6. BPV's are working fine

7. No boost leaks (checked yesterday)

Will try to re-flash the car and if THAT doesn't work well a good ol' can of gasoline poured over it and a match...

THAT'S HOW FRUSTATED I FEEL!

Default I had similar boost issues

I had the 3- program for 2 weeks and traded it in because I didn't want to be stuck with it. I didn't have the logging capabilities that I do now but my boost ramp was veeerrrryyyy slow and then peaking at red-line. I wasn't making full boost till 5k. Others seem to be OK, so I dont' know what to tell you, and there was another car that had the slow boost ramp too, prior to mine. Now I'm full stg3 and I'm trying to iron out issues that I feel I am having. It's a fuel *****. Never ending.

Default dude, have you log 015/016 under throttle, especial where the boost drop area?

it might be your coil pack!

say after you log, and you see miss fire on cyl 4 then move the cyl4 coil pack to another cyl and see if miss fire jumps, if it does then it is your coil pack! doing this test dont cost anything, except your gas and time!
