Default Yeah but they also say "man it sucks it will take you 'till next week to get a new turbo."

Like some folks here have waited a month or more.

And the whole "pulling the engine" to replace the turbos... that's what makes me nervous. The mechanic better be on a good day (well, days) when he works on your car... Quite a few replacements have "gone bad" because of that -- it could be the start of lots of bad things...

Default Agreed that is one reason the WRX is more of a tuner car.. Simple change for the turbo even easier

then my eclipse which I replaced turbos on in under 2 hours a few times.

The subaru is definately a do it yourself tuners dream! Very nice, lots of room already, easy easy easy access, already room for a FMIC.. Just lack of wheel choices and that nast 50-52 offset (ick), want an 8.0-8.5" wheel, ya right

Frank I'm looking for great things from you!

Default WOW, amazing! only a week for new turbo to arrive!

Beats the 2, 3 weeks some Audi fellows HAD to wait!

Being the 1st one I bet they will have always a turbo replacement handy 'just in case', from now on.

Japanese for ya.
